    • CTC A charity promoting all types of cycling. They use their knowledge to influence decision makers and work towards make cycling safer, with campaigns such as ‘Fill that Hole’ and ‘Road Justice’.
    • Cycling Scotland Working to make cycling in Scotland an acceptable, attractive and practical lifestyle option through training courses, cycle friendly schemes and campaigns such as ‘Give Me Cycle Space’.

    • Sustrans Supporting people to use active travel by promoting and co-ordinating the National Cycle Network and influencing policy development with the Scottish Government, Local Authorities and politicians.

  • Local Clubs

    • Belles on Bikes A ladies leisure cycle club for women around Moray, funded by CTC and Cycling Scotland. Leisure rides of about 20 miles, with a stop for a cup of tea, some cake and a natter!
    • Dirt Vixens Aiming to cater for female mountain bikers of any level who want to improve their riding. Skills sessions following the Go MTB proficiency course take place fortnightly.
    • Elgin Cycling Club Recreational and sporting cycling events and social activities for mountain bikers, triathletes, road cyclists and racers.
    • Forres Cycling Club Founded in 1938 as a Touring Club, but have since dabbled in racing – road races, time trials and grass track.
    • Moray Mountain Bike Club Aiming to get more people out to enjoy the countryside coupled with a good social atmosphere. Club rides every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm from Bishopmill Primary car park.

    • Cycle Streets Like google maps but specifically designed for cyclists. Enter your start point and your end point and see the fastest route, quietest route and a balanced route.
    • Cycle-Route A list of routes all across the country, including maps – find the perfect place to ride or add your own.
    • Map My Ride Also available: Map My Run and Map My Walk. Shows tried and tested routes and allows you to add your own. Can be used with a Garmin or linked to several other fitness accounts.
    • Strava Monitor your mileage, your elevation gain, calories burned and race others to be the fastest on strava segments. Can be used with a Garmin or has a useful app for smartphones.
